Life as we know it, can hand us lemons and all we can do is make lemonade, right? Wrong...when life hands you lemons, find someone who's life gave them vodka and do lemon drops. Thats the alternative to sugar coating a situation. I'm not one to sugar coat situations and I'd rather be told the stone cold truth before being told what could happen. Thats the way I look at life because life unfortuntly, doesn't consist of all rainbows and butterflys. There's much more behind the fantasy's that some people choose to live. I'm not saying that it's wrong to live in a fantasy world but, there comes a time when reality is the only game to play. We all want to live in this so called "fantasy" but soon realize its not really there. Much of this, comes from our favourite t.v. shows. aka: 90210. Young people, especially teenagers are drawn to these types of shows and aspire to be just like the characters they see there. I'm easily drawn to this show and I to have wanted to live like the characters I see in there. I have however, realized it is unattainable and unhuman like to have everything in the world. I'm just like every other teenager who is drawn to fantasy land but, unlike some I've learned "there is no such thing as fantasy land, only the dreams we have count." I do wish there was, though!!!
